First off, the golden color really is eye catching, and really fits the title you gave it. I would like to see the background a bit more mysterious and bit more blurry. Probably the biggest issue I have is the stairs and guide rail in the background. Because of the split of the trees the eye goes between them and the stairs are highly visible, especially with them being bright sunlight. The guide rail could be corrected with a little more depth of field to get a bit blurry. For the stairs, a slight position adjustment would put the trunk of the tree over it. Otherwise both could be amended with photoshop. Maybe play with the curves a bit to make the gold really pop, but overall a well captured image.
